Garms of the Day no. 12...Expecting

Lately I have encountered the biggest styling challenge of my life...dressing my 4months pregnant body! My latest news is that my boyfriend and I are expecting a baby! Very very very very super super super super excited. More excited than I've been about anything in my whole entire life.

For the last 29years I've got used to my body and developed my style of dressing, knew exactly what suited me and could practically get dressed in the dark. Well the last couple of months have presented me with an expanding waistline and suddenly MASSIVE boobs, meaning no more skimpy shorts, super skinny jeans (except for maternity ones...more on that later) and tight dresses for me! I am finally starting to figure out after a bit of shopping and lots of tears (could be the hormones) what I can wear over these next few months to accommodate our little bubba growing. And here is my very first pregnancy garms of the day....

I heart this denim shirt, I have nearly posted it on my ASOS Marketplace boutique for sale about 3 times now and every time I decide to keep it! Its a bit of a painters smock but I can live with that for the sequinned collar and pocket! I haven't blogged in AGES as have been waaaaaay busy at work and moving around with my boyfriend trying to find fixed abode, but I am getting back on it. Happy summer peeps!

Peekaboo PYT!

I am loving my job at Peekaboo Vintage running their ASOS Marketplace Boutique! It's the biggest buzz creating different looks for the models that come in (from endless amazing vintage stock sourced by super Emily) and then getting some great snaps of them. One of the latest shoots was with PYT up-and-coming model Zoe...you heard it here first! Zoe has such a fresh-faced look and some great poses in front of the lens it was an absolute pleasure working with her...she's so cute! As some of you may already know I am a mad fan of vintage Levis denim shorts, they've become a staple piece of any girls wardrobe! Wear with tights and a knit in winter and with a nice blouse or tee in summer...dress up dress down etc etc. LOVE EM! Never Fully Dressed

I am a big fan of all things ASOS Marketplace and have had a slight obsession with these tops from the Never Fully Dressed boutique lately. I love the shape of them and the fact that they're a fine gauge knit which is perfecto for summer! There are so many colours to choose from I couldn't decide for aaaages, but as soon as the black one popped up I decided to go for that as a good starting point. Once it arrives I'm thinking I can then decide on potential other colours...excited! Picturing myself wearing said new top (nonchalantly lifting my arm to scratch head obvs) with levis shorts or over skinny jeans with a chunky heel. LOVE.

I watched "Coco Before Chanel" a couple of evenings ago and it re-affirmed my love of a white peter pan collar against black. Such a good look! Loved the film too, a really inspiring lady x
